First swifts arrive. Every year we are happy to welcome them again. De eerste gierzwaluwen komen terug aan. Elk jaar is dat een feest.

A few dozens of swits were flapping around above our home in the city of Antwerp. Every year they arrive 1, 2 or 3 days before the 1st of may.

Male of broodpair arrived in stable; female usually arrives 7-10 days later. Further observation is that there are very very few returning males this year! As of 9 april, still no females ... ...
