A flock of about 12 bee eaters were circling over my garden, catching bees and resting on the electricity wires.

I heard their distinct call and my heart skipped a beat. Because their call means Spring. And Spring means flowers and Sun. And I love rolling in the fields and soaking in the sun.

First heard then saw a flock of around 30 bee-eaters flying over Akrotiri Salt Lake, Limassol.
